RIPPLE EFFECT | Adam Cohn

  • Gladstone 36 1/2 Union Street Manchester-by-the-Sea, MA, 01944 United States (map)

GLADSTONE is pleased to present RIPPLE EFFECT, a new exhibition of linear seascape drawings by Marblehead artist Adam Cohn. In this latest collection, Cohn explores the mesmerizing patterns, rhythms, and movement of coastal waters and shorelines, translating the natural world into intricate compositions of line and form. His distinctive visual language captures the hypnotic qualities of rippling water, revealing the interplay of movement, light, and texture that defines the coastal landscape.

Originally from Pennsylvania, Cohn has called the Massachusetts coast home for nearly two decades, spending the past ten years in Marblehead. His lifelong creative journey began with a passion for drawing and evolved into an accomplished career in graphic design and visual storytelling. After studying Graphic Design at Penn State University, Cohn spent more than two decades leading creative initiatives for global brands including Nike and Converse. His background in design informs his artistic practice, bringing a refined graphic sensibility to his exploration of the natural world.

This is Cohn’s third exhibition at Gladstone.
